What is Xsystem?

There's no reason the big boys get to have all the fun. Those big Cat 2 tractors and big skid steers, out there prancing around like they own the place with their cool attachment "toys"! Nobody likes a showoff. We like our smaller machines just as they are. We might just wish a company would make the same type of toys the big boys have that are attachments sized for our machines. Now we do!

Our machines are just as capable given the right sized attachments. Black Iron is working to bring you innovative solutions for compact or subcompact tractors, small skid steer and mini skid steer owners. With the right sized attachments, we can get more work done and maybe prance a little bit, with joy of course, not to show off or anything like that.

About our products:
Black Iron Equipment is bringing affordable innovative and practical attachments to the small, compact, sub compact and mini skid steer machine market. We currently have seven products in our Xsystem line up with more exciting attachments on the way. Our Xsystem for front end loaders (FEL) is based on the idea of having an interchangeable system of attachments that fit a unified attachment frame. You only need to buy one Xsystem frame for your FEL machine to attach any of the Xsystem series attachments to it. With the Xsystem quick attach frame for your machines FEL you can add a root ripper, stump bucket, shovel, stinger (tree boom), trailer hitch or any of our other attachments to it. Saving you money, time and space! You can easily store the frame and each attachment since they are detachable and interchangeable. This allows you to utilize less space to store them. How is all this possible you ask? With the Xsystem less time is needed changing out attachments, the Xsystem is a simple plug in and pin system. If you can successfully put a trailer hitch in a receiver you can operate the Xsystem!

The cost savings of the Xsystem are evident, you are buying fewer steel parts to make all your attachments work. SSQA, JDQA mini skid steer plates are bulky, heavy and are typically expensive. When you buy attachments from traditional manufactures you're buying a whole new plate with each attachment. That gets expensive and hard to store. All this affects the amount of material and weight needed for each traditional attachment. The Xsystem is for smaller machines that don't need all that extra material on our attachments. Typical attachments are mostly too big and heavy for our machines because they are made for big machines that need bulky, heavy-duty grade attachments.

The Xsystem uses interchangeable attachments that fit one FEL Xsystem attachment frame, you can leave that one Xsystem frame on your machine ready to go for the next Xsystem attachment. The Xsystem frames utilize a standard 2" receiver style mounting system with three different mounting positions. The options are endless for attachments with the Xsystem. Want to put an attachment on upside down or sideways? Go for it, who are we to judge how you get your job done!

We have options for fully assembled units shipped to your door ready to work or DIY weld packs. Allowing you to choose even greater savings. All attachments are made of A36 structural steel, unless otherwise noted.
